アロエ・フミリス (帝王錦)

南アフリカのケープ地方南部に分布しています。夏と冬に降雨のある砂礫地に生え、高さは４５センチほどになります。茎はなく、葉は青緑色で小さな白い棘が両面にあります。８月から９月ごろ、朱色からオレンジ色、黄色などの花を咲かせます。園芸上は、「帝王錦（ていおうにしき）」と呼ばれます。 |

ユリ科アロエ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Aloe humilis。英名は Dwarf hedgehog aloe。 |

The Dwarf hedgehog aloe (Aloe humilis) belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is distributed in the southern Cape region of South Africa. It grows in sandy gravel areas with summer and winter rainfall and grows to about 45 cm tall. It has no stem, blue-green leaves with small white spines on both sides, and blooms from August to September with vermilion, orange, or yellow flowers. In Japan, it is horticulturally known as "帝王錦". |
