アニソドンテア・マルウァストロイデス [Index] [Back] 南アフリカの東ケープ地方から西ケープ地方に分布しています。高さは１〜２メートルになります。葉は円形から楕円形で、３〜５裂します。春の若葉のころは、淡い赤紫色です。温度があれば一年中、ピンク色の５弁花を咲かせます。 アオイ科アニソドンテア属の常緑小低木で、学名は Anisodontea malvastroides。英名はありません。 The Anisodontea malvastroides belongs to Malvaceae (the Mallow family). It is an evergreen shrub that is native to the eastern and western Cape in South Africa. This shrub can reach 1-2 m in height. The leaves are round to elliptic and devided into 3-5 lobes. They assume purple-pink coloring in spring. The pink 5 petaled flowers appear all year round if the temperature keeps comfortable.
