南アフリカが原産です。直立性で、高さは６０センチほどになります。短い小枝の先端に、細長い筒型の花を咲かせます。咲き始めは純白色ですが、次第にピンク色に変わっていきます。写真上・中は園芸品種の「ホワイトデライト（cv. White Delight）」。 |

ツツジ科エリカ属の常緑小低木で、学名は Erica colorans。英名はありません。 |

|
Erica colorans belongs to Ericaceae (the Azalea family). It is an evergreen shrub that is native to South Africa. This shrub grows upright and can reach about 60 cm in height. The elongate tubular flowers bloom at the terminal short twigs. The flower color is pure white when comming in bloom, it will turn gradually in pink. |
