インドやスリランカに分布しています。茎は赤みを帯びた多肉質で、匍匐します。葉は小さな腎形です。「つりふねそう（釣船草）」に似た１〜２センチほどの鮮やかな黄色い花を咲かせます。 |

ツリフネソウ科ツルフネソウ属の常緑多年草で、学名は Impatiens repens。英名は Ceylon jewelweed、Yellow impatiens。 |

The Ceylon jewelweed (Impatiens repens) belongs to Balsaminaceae (the Balsam family). It is an evergreen perennial herb that is distributed in India and Sri Lanka. The stem is reddish, fleshy, and creeping. The leaves are small and kidney-shaped. It produces bright yellow flowers 1-2 cm long, similar to those of Touch-me-not. |
