メキシコが原産です。半乾燥地帯に生え、幹の高さは４メートルほどになります。葉はロゼット状につき、長さ９０センチくらいの披針形です。６〜８メートルにもなる長い花茎を伸ばして、大きな円錐花序をつけ、緑がかったクリーム色のベル形の花を咲かせます。 |

リュウゼツラン科フルクラエア属の常緑小低木で、学名は Furcraea bedinghausii。英名はありません。 |

The Furcraea bedinghausii belongs to Agavaceae (the Agave family). It is an evergreen shrub that is native to Mexico. It grows in semi-arid areas, with a trunk up to 4 m tall. It has lanceolate leaves in rosettes, about 90 cm long, and long flower stalks that grow to 6 to 8 m long, producing large conical panicles of greenish cream bell-shaped flowers. |
