はごろもジャスミン (羽衣ジャスミン)

中国の南東部が原産です。「ヤスミナム・ポリアンツム」は、ソケイ属のなかではもっとも多花性で、強い芳香のある小さな花が株全体を被います。「はごろもジャスミン」は品種名ですが、こちらの方が普及しています。つぼみのうちは紫色がかったピンク色ですが、開くと白色になります。 |

モクセイ科ソケイ属の常緑低木で、学名は Jasminum polyanthum。英名は Winter jasmine、Pink jasmine。 |

The winter jasmine (Jasminum polyanthum) belongs to Oleaceae (the Olive family). It is a small everegreen tree that is native to southeastern China. This tree is a multiflora and the strong scented flowers bloom from stem to stern. They are puplish pink in the buds and turn in white when blooming. |
