南アフリカが原産です。高さは１５〜３０センチになり、茎は這うかほぼ直立して、密に分枝しています。葉は卵状長楕円形で厚く、全縁で無毛です。小枝の上部近くに、数個のふじ色の花を咲かせます。花の直径は８〜１２ミリです。果実は卵形の莢果で、やや腺質で小鱗に被われ、長さは４〜５ミリです。 |

ゴマノハグサ科ステラ属の多年草で、学名は Sutera microphylla。英名はありません。 |

The Sutera microphylla belongs to Scrophulariaceae (the Figwort family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed to South Africa. This herb can reach 15-30 cm in height, and the stem decumbent or suberect, closely branched. The leaves are ovate-oblong, thick, entire and glabrous. The several mauve flowers bloom near the top of the branchlets. The diameter of the flower is 8-12 mm. The fruits are ovate capsules, somewhat glandular-squamulose, and 4-5 mm long. |
