メキシコが原産です。直立する小低木で、大きな楕円形の葉が互生します。葉腋に、花弁状に見える萼のある１０センチほどの花を咲かせます。萼は３裂して、先端は尾状になります。花柄には褐色の細毛が密生します。 |

ウマノスズクサ科ウマノスズクサ属の常緑小低木で、学名は Aristolochia tricaudata。英名はありません。 |

The Aristolochia tricaudata belongs to Aristolochiaceae (the Birthwort family). It is a perennial herb that is native to Mexico. It is a small, upright shrub with large, elliptic, alternate leaves. In the axils of the leaves are 10 cm flowers with sepals that look like petals. The calyx has three lobes, the tips of which are caudate. The petals are densely covered with fine brown hairs. |
