エキノドルス・グランディフロルス・アウレウス [Index] [Back] 中央アメリカから南アメリカに分布しています。池や沼に生え、高さは４５センチほどになります。葉は心形です。新しい葉は黄色っぽく、古くなると黄金色になります。７月から１０月ごろ、花茎を伸ばして、白色の花を咲かせます。 オモダカ科エキノドルス属の多年草で、学名は Echinodorus grandiflorus ssp. aureus。英名はありません。 Echinodorus grandiflorus ssp. aureus belongs to Alismataceae (the Water-plantain family). It is a perennial heb that is native to Central and South America. This herb grows in ponds and bogs, and can reach about 45 cm in height. The leaves are heart-shaped. It is characterised by the fact that new leaves are yellowish and older leaves golden.
