メキシコ北部のイダルゴ州が原産です。多肉植物で、高さは６０センチほどになります。葉は１０センチくらいの楕円形で、軟毛に被われています。春に、長い花茎を伸ばして、オレンジ色の花を咲かせます。春から夏にかけては多くの水を必要としますが、冬にはほとんど不要です。 |

The Echeveria coccinea belongs to Crassulaceae (the Orpine family). It is an evergreen herb that is native to the state of Hidalgo in northern Mexico. It is a succulent plant, growing up to 60 cm tall. The leaves are elliptic, about 10 cm long, and covered with soft hairs. In spring, it produces long flower stalks and orange flowers. It requires a lot of water in spring and summer, but little in winter. |
