ホヤ・ビロバータ [Index] [Back] フィリピンに分布しています。湿潤熱帯バイオームに生え、樹木や岩に着生します。またつる性で、茎は２〜３メートルの長さになります。葉は円形または広楕円形で革質、表面には光沢があります。茎の上部に散形花序をだし、芳香のある暗赤色の花を咲かせます。花冠は小さく、直径６〜７ミリしかありません。 ガガイモ科サクララン属の常緑小低木で、学名は Hoya bilobata。英名は Wax plant。 The Wax plant (Hoya bilobata) belongs to Asclepiadaceae (the Milkweed family). It is an evergreen shrub that is distributed in the Philippines. It grows in humid tropical biomes and is found on trees and rocks. It is also a vine, with stems reaching 2 to 3 m in length. The leaves are round or broadly elliptical, leathery, and glossy on the surface. Umbels appear at the top of the stem, producing fragrant, dark red flowers.
