ヒマラヤのカシミール地方それにアフガニスタンに分布しています。標高３０００〜３５００メートルの湿原や沼地に生え、高さは３〜１０センチになります。根生葉は長楕円形から倒披針形です。早春に花茎をのばして散形花序をつけ、中心が黄色の濃いピンク色の花を咲かせます。

サクラソウ科サクラソウ属の多年草で、学名は Primula rosea。英名はありません。

The Primula rosea belongs to Primulaceae (the Primrose family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed in Kashmir of the Himalayas and in Afghanistan. It grows in marshes and swamps at elevations of 3000 to 3500 m and is 3 to 10 cm tall. The basal leaves are oblong to oblanceolate. In early spring, it produces umbels with sprawling flower stalks and dark pink flowers with yellow centers.
