コプシア・フラウィダ [Index] [Back] フィリピンからインドネシアのマルク州、ニューギニア、ソロモン諸島、バヌアツそれにミクロネシアに分布しています。熱帯雨林に生え、高さは９〜１５メートルになります。樹皮は褐色または灰色で、平滑です。葉は長楕円形で対生し、縁は波状にうねります。花は白色で２出集散花序に咲きます。  キョウチクトウ科コプシア属の常緑中高木で、学名は Kopsia flavida。英名はありません。  Kopsia flavida belongs to Apocynaceae (the Dogbane family). It is a semi-tall evergreen tree that is native to the Philippines, Maluku, New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and Micronesia. This tree grows in tropical rain forests and can reach 9-15 m in height. The bark is brown or gray and smooth. The leaves are opposite, oblong with wavy edges.
