マミラリア・ウォードシー (霧棲丸)

メキシコ中部のグアノフアト州に分布しています。茎は扁平した球形から棍棒状で、陥没した頂部があり、高さ５センチ、直径８センチほどになります。結節は円錐形で疣は真っ白な綿毛に被われています。２〜４個の中棘と２５〜３０個の縁棘があります。花はピンク色で濃いピンク色の中縞があり、直径１２〜１５ミリ、春から夏に咲きます。 |

The old lady cactus (Mammillaria hahniana ssp woodsii) belongs to Cactaceae (the Cactus family). It is an evergreen succulent perennial that is native to Guanajuato, in central Mexico. The stems are flattened globose to club-shaped, with sunken apex, it can reach 5 cm in height and 8 cm in diameter. The tubercles are conical, and the axiles are filled by woolly white hairs. It has 2-4 central spines and 25-30 radial spines. The flowers are pink with darker pink midstripe, 12-15 mm in diameter, and bloom in spring and summer. |
