ユリ科ワスレグサ科の多年草で、学名は Hemerocallis fulva var. longituba (syn. Hemerocallis fulva var. disticha)。英名は No-kanzo。
The "No-kanzo" (Hemerocallis fulva var. longituba) belongs to Liliaceae (the Lily family). It is a perennial herb that is native to Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu and the Nansei Islands in Japan as well as the Korean Peninsula. This herb grows in wettish fields or streambanks. The thick flowering stalk it borne and blooms orenge-red trumpet-shaped flowers from June to September. The flowers last one day.
