さいはいらん (采配蘭) [Index] [Back] わが国の各地をはじめ、台湾、東南アジア、中国それにインドに分布しています。山地の林内に生え、高さは３０〜５０センチになります。偽球茎は卵形で、頂上から１個、まれに２個の葉を出します。葉は長楕円形で、先端は尖ります。５月から６月ごろ、花茎をだして淡い緑褐色で紅紫色を帯びた花を総状に咲かせます。 ラン科サイハイラン属の多年草で、学名は Cremastra appendiculata。英名はありません。 "Saihai-ran" (Cremastra appendiculata) belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is a perennial herb that is native to throughout Japan, Taiwan, Eastsouth Asia, China and India. This herb grows in mountain forests and can reach 30-50 cm in height. The pseudobulbs are ovate and arise solitary or rarely two leaves from apex of pseudobulbes. The leaves are oblong with acute tips.
