せいようふき (西洋蕗) [Index] [Back] ヨーロッパからアジア北部に分布しています。湿り気のある北総地や森林、流れの辺や小峡谷などに生え、高さは８０〜１２０センチになります。葉は大きな円形で、直径は４０〜７０センチになります。春、葉が展開する前に、淡いふじ桃色または黄色がかった白色の頭花を咲かせます。 キク科フキ属の多年草で、学名は Petasites hybridus。英名は Common butterbur。 Common butterbur (Petasites hybridus) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is a perennial herb that is native to Europe and northern Asia. This herb grows in damp meadows, woods, streamsides and gullies, and can reach 80-120 cm in height. The leaves are large, round, with a diameter of 40-70 cm.
