中国の西部が原産です。高さは１．８メートルほどになり、葉は被針形で革質です。この葉は秋にしばしば赤く色づきます。６月ごろ、白い花を咲かせ、秋から冬にかけて果実が赤く熟します。 |

バラ科ストランウェシア属の常緑小低木で、学名は Stranvaesia davidiana。英名は Chinese stranvaesia。 |

The Chinese stranvaesia (Stranvaesia davidiana) belongs to Rosaceae (the Rose family). It is an evergreen shrub that is native to western China. This shrub can reach about 1.8 m in height, the leaves are lanceolate and leathery, often turn into red in fall. White flowers come in June and the fruits ripen red in fall to winter. |
