ざくろそう (石榴草)

わが国の本州から四国、九州それに東アジア、インドに分布しています。畑や道ばたなどにふつうに生え、高さは１０〜２５センチほどになります。葉は「ざくろ（石榴）」に似た披針形から線状披針形で、３〜５個が偽輪生します。７月から１０月ごろ、茎の先端が細かく分枝して、白い小さな花を咲かせます。花弁はなく、白緑色の萼片が５個あります。 |

ザクロソウ科ザクロソウ属の一年草で、学名は Mollugo pentaphylla。英名はありません。 |

"Zakuro-so" (Mollugo pentaphylla) belongs to the family Molluginaceae. Ir is an annual herb that is distributed from Honshu to Shikoku, Kyushu in Japan, East Asia, and India. It usually grows in fields and roadsides, and is about 10 to 25 cm in height. The leaves are lanceolate to linear lanceolate, similar to "Pomegranate", and 3 to 5 leaves are arranged in false verticillate. From July to October, the tips of the stems are finely branched and bloom small white flowers. There are no petals and there are 5 white-green calyxes. |
