つれさぎそう (連鷺草) [Index] [Back] わが国の各地をはじめ、朝鮮半島や中国、ネパールに分布しています。低山地の日当たりのよい草地に生え、高さは３５〜６０センチになります。葉は楕円形で、５〜７個が互生します。５月から６月ごろ、強い芳香のある乳白色の花を１０数個咲かせます。花の直径は１．５センチほどで、比較的長い距があります。中国語では「舌唇蘭（she chun lan）」と呼ばれます。 ラン科ツレサギソウ属の多年草で、学名は Platanthera japonica。英名はありません。 The "Tsuresagi-so" (Platanthera japonica) belongs to Orchidaceae (the Orchid family). It is a perennial herb that is native all over Japan, as well as the Korean Peninsula, China and Nepal. This orchid grows in sunny grassland of low mountains, and it can reach 35-60 cm in height. The leaves are elliptic, 5-7 arranged in alternate. The more than a dozen, strong scented, creamy white flowers bloom from May to June.
