やまぼくち (山火口)

わが国の本州、愛知県以西から四国・九州それに朝鮮半島に分布しています。日当たりの良い草原や林縁に生え、高さは７０〜１００センチになります。茎は白色のくも毛に被われます。葉はやや薄い卵形で、基部は心形または円形です。裏面には綿毛が密生します。１０月から１１月ごろ、茎頂に赤紫色の頭花を横向きに咲かせます。頭花はすべて管状花で、総苞はくも毛に被われます。 |

キク科ヤマボクチ属の多年草で、学名は Synurus palmatopinnatifidus var. indivisus。英名はありません。 |

"Yama-bokuchi" (Synurus palmatopinnatifidus var. indivisus) belongs to Asteraceae (the Aster family). It is a perennial herb that is distributed from Aichi prefecture of Hinshu west to Shikoku, Kyushu in Japan, and the Korean Peninsula. This herb grows on sunny meadows and forest edges and can reach 70-100 cm in height. The stem is covered with white spider hair. The leaves are slightly thin ovate and the base is heart-shaped or round. Fluff grows densely on the back side. From October to November, reddish-purple flower heads bloom sideways on the shoot apex. The flower heads are all tubular flowers, and the bracts are covered with spider hair. |
