 ヨーロッパの西部から南部が原産です。河岸や海岸沿いの岩礫地
や灌木帯に生え、高さは６０〜９０センチになります。葉は楕円形で
柄はなく対生します。６月から８月ごろ、黄色い花を咲かせます。果
実ははじめ赤色ですが、熟すとほとんど黒色になります。
オトギリソウ科オトギリソウ属の半常緑小低木で、学名は Hypericum
androsaemum。英名は Tutsan。
Tutsan belongs to Clusiaceae family. It is a semievergreen shrub that is
native to western and southern Europe. This shrub occurs in stream banks,
coastal screes or scrugs and can reach 60-90 cm in height. The leaves are
elliptic, sessile and opposite. The yellow flowers come in June to August.
The fruits are red though turn black when mature.
