 
 中国の北部から朝鮮半島に分布しています。わが国へは、室町時
代に渡来しました。名前は、花が下垂したところを仏教の華鬘（けま
ん）に見立てたもの。別名で「たいつりそう（鯛釣り草）」とも呼ばれま
す。４月から６月ごろ、弓なりに伸びた花茎に、ハート形の花を下垂し
て咲かせます。花冠は紅色またはピンク色で、先端が白色です。
ケマンソウ科コマクサ属の多年草で、学名は Dicentra spectabilis。
英名は Bleeding heart。
Bleeding heart (Dicentra spectabilis) belongs to Fumariaceae (Fumitory
family). It is a perennial herb that is native from northern China to Korean
Peninsula. It was introduced into Japan in Muromachi Era (about 550
years ago). This herb blooms drooping heart-shaped flowers on the arched
flowering stalks from April to May. The collora is rose-pink to pink with
white tips.
