 
 わが国の各地をはじめ、朝鮮半島や中国の東北部、華北、西北部
に分布しています。日当たりが良く湿った平地や田の畔などに生え、
高さは２０〜６０センチになります。葉は２形あり、栄養葉は海藻状で
す。下部には葉柄があり、上部は無柄で翼があります。胞子葉は秋
にでて、玉状となった小羽片のなかにソーラスができます。
イワデンダ科コウヤワラビ属の夏緑性シダ類で、学名は Onoclea
sensibilis var. interrupta。英名は Asian sensitive fern。
Asian sensitive fern (Onoclea sensibilis var. interrupta) belongs to
the Woodsiaceae family. It is a summer-green fern that is distributed to
Japan, also the Korean Peninsula, northeastern-northen and northwestern
China. This fern grows in sunny wettish flatlands or rice field linches
and can reach 20-60 cm in height. The leaves are consist of sterile fronds
and fertile fronds. The sterile fronds look like sea alga with petioles at the
underpart. The fertile fronds are borne in fall with beaded pinnae and sori.
