みやまめしだ (深山雌羊歯)

わが国の本州、中部地方以北から北海道に分布しています。亜高山帯から高山帯の湿った斜面に生え、高さは４０〜１００センチになります。葉は２回羽状複葉で、胞子嚢群は裂片の中肋近くにつきます。葉柄には、黒褐色でつやのある捩れた鱗片が目立ちます。 |

イワデンダ科メシダ属の夏緑性シダ類で、学名は Athyrium melanolepis。英名はありません。 |

"Miyama-meshida" (Athyrium melanolepis) belongs to the Woodsiaceae family. It is a summer-green fern that is distributed from the Chubu district of Honshu north to Hokkaido. This fern grows on wet slopes in subalpine to alpine zone, and 40-100 cm in height. The leaves are bipinnate compound, and the sori are aligned to both sides of the midrib of pinna. The dark brown, glossy, twisted scales stand out on the petioles. |
